In 2 languages, French and English, here is a beautiful work initiated by Fernando Ferreira. But let the author speak: I started this work in 1996. Seventeen years of archives, a photographic parenthesis, a long snapshot of places and people, in all weathers, all lights, 100% natural without artifice digital. Everyday life and clichés. Some places have disappeared, some men are no longer there, the images remain. They testify to these past moments, these "decisive moments" which fix the present to offer it to the future, and thus help in the transmission of the collective memory: to look at the past to better apprehend the future.
